this is just to bump the old journal off the main page since I didn't want that one up so long....anyway..I have nothing to say right now.... yeh...

I'm very seriously considering buying at least one L series lens before the year is out and I hope sooner than later this will happen. I wanted to start small with what I would use more... Maybe the 24-70mm f2.8 l I love shooting wide angles and I love low apertures so that's the best one for that. I'm just tired of the 50mm 1.8 I have, it's just too limiting being 50mm. I'm not at all going to get rid of it, it just needs a companion. I've been shooting a lot of shows recently(music), and wide angles and low apertures are a necessity! I'll be thinking more about this soon...I'll keep everyone posted...

I've seen countless wedding photo's that have been edited in photoshop to look like there was vignetting. Some edits are good, some are bad. I know what natural vignetting looks like and alot of the times they don't do it right but that's beside the point. Why is there so much forced vignetting? Is it just me? Am I crazy? I honestly don't like doing it but some of the shots I've seen(where the vignetting actually looks natural)are really good! Respond plz!
